Project Description
Throwing it back to 2021, Syntek successfully completed the installation project of a 1.5 MWp Rooftop Solar Power Plant (PLTS Atap) on the integrated palm oil company, Bina Karya Prima’s (BKP), roof in Bekasi, West Java.
The installation of the rooftop solar panel system, comprising 2,788 PV modules, was estimated to reduce carbon emissions by 1,629 tons of CO2 per year and increase the supply of electricity to the factory’s operational activities by 2,088 MWp annually, thereby reducing the burden of electricity bills from PLN.
BKP has actively participated in sustainability efforts by harnessing renewable energy sources. This is evidenced by the additional installation of Rooftop Solar Power Plants at other BKP factories in Gresik, East Java, totaling 2 MWp. 🌳☀️
