Project Description
Syntek as a renewable EPC Company has completed the 2 MWp Rooftop PLTS installation project installed on the roof of the Bina Karya Prima (BKP) factory in Gresik, East Java. The solar panel frame installation is calculated to reduce carbon emissions by 2,164 Tons of CO2 / year and make BKP the first and largest integrated palm oil company in Gresik that successfully utilizes PLTS Atap as a renewable energy source.
PLTS Atap with 3,708 PV modules is the largest capacity Rooftop PV built by Syntek so far. This PLTS can increase the supply of electrical energy to the factory’s operational activities by 2,774,000 kWh per year, so it is certain to reduce the burden of PLN electricity bills.
BKP also takes part in sustainability by utilizing renewable energy sources. Syntek’s support for BKP is in line with our vision of helping to increase the use of new renewable energy to provide a cleaner, greener and healthier future for the next generation of the earth.
