SCADA System Integration at 19 Substations in Batam

Syntek Energy & Control has successfully completed a major project by integrating the SCADA system into 19 substations in Batam, commissioned by PT PLN (Persero). This milestone was achieved in May 2024 through the installation of Remote Terminal Units (RTU), significantly enhancing the reliability of the 20 kV electricity distribution network in the region.

With this integration, PLN Batam now has the capability to respond rapidly to disturbances and efficiently restore power outages, ensuring better management of blackout incidents.

The Syntek team has once again demonstrated its capability as a trusted partner of PT PLN (Persero) in designing, installing, and commissioning SCADA equipment. Moreover, this integration is expected to positively contribute to improving the overall reliability of the electricity network in the area.
