Project Description
As part of the peatland ecosystem-based economic development project initiated by PT Rimba Makmur Utama (RMU), Syntek was entrusted as the EPC partner to develop an Off-Grid Solar Power Plant with a capacity of 204.12 kWp. The system consists of 378 PV modules and is equipped with a 416 kWh battery to ensure reliable electricity supply for the albumin production facility in Tampelas Village, Central Kalimantan.
Despite challenges such as flooding, difficult terrain, limited logistics, the absence of PLN grid connection, and poor communication signals, Syntek successfully completed the installation through meticulous engineering and close collaboration with the local community.
This project demonstrates how solar energy can expand access, support local economies, and strengthen the peatland ecosystem in Indonesia’s remote regions.
