Project Description
Syntek Energy & Control has successfully completed the 20 kV Distribution SCADA System Development Project for the Palu & Toli-Toli Subsystems, commissioned by PT PLN (Persero) UP2D Sulutenggo. The project covered the development and system integration of SCADA across eight (8) sites—including substations (Gardu Induk), switching stations (Gardu Hubung), and diesel power plants (PLTD)—in the Palu and Toli-Toli areas, and was finalized on 19 March 2025.
With the implementation of this SCADA system, PLN now has the capability to monitor and control the distribution network rapidly, in real time, and from a centralized control point. The deployed solution enables remote operation of circuit breakers (PMT / Pemutus Tenaga) via the Palu DCC Master, allowing load normalization during disturbances to be executed in a more responsive, structured, and measurable manner.
The completion of this project marks a strategic step in enhancing the reliability and operational performance of the 20 kV distribution network, including stronger operational coordination between substations and their downstream distribution feeders—ultimately supporting the continuity and stability of electricity supply in Palu and Toli-Toli.
This achievement also reinforces Syntek’s commitment as a trusted partner for PLN in delivering modern, reliable, and sustainable distribution automation and digitalization solutions, aligned with systematic operational control and established utility reliability practices.
