Project Description
As the executor of the work in 2018, Syntek has successfully implemented the Smart Microgrid system conceptualized and designed by BPPT in collaboration with the institution. The system consists of a 100 kWp PLTS system, a 10 kWh Li-Ion Battery, Smart Meter, Weather Station, SCADA, and PLC for monitoring systems to analyze how Smart Microgrid works. This system is implemented on the roof of the B2TKE-BPPT building in Puspiptek South Tangerang. The purpose of this activity is to create a microgrid laboratory as a place for education, research and development of Smart Microgrid systems.
The effort is carried out as a step of smart grid technology innovation that can help alleviate the problems faced by many power grids. Smart Grid is the integration of intelligent technology in the power grid that aspires to meet the needs of electrical energy in the present and future and become a primary need.
Syntek successfully implemented the bppt design concept in the PV – Battery – Grid interconnection at that time, and we are proud to collaborate with the government on various challenges regarding the development of smart grid technology in Indonesia.
