Project Description

Syntek Energy & Control, under an assignment from PT Xurya Daya Indonesia, has successfully completed a Proof of Concept (POC) project for the installation of a Zero Export Solar PV (PLTS) system at a paper manufacturing facility located in Bogor, West Java. The project was finalized on 13 May 2025 as part of an initiative to optimize the operation of an existing solar PV system.

In this project, Syntek integrated two BOS PV points into a single centralized control system managed by a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU). This system enables real-time control of solar PV generation to match the factory’s load demand. The RTU is integrated with the existing SolarLog datalogger system and medium-voltage (MV) power meters, ensuring accurate and reliable monitoring and control.

The implementation of the zero export system is intended to prevent any power export to the PLN grid when solar PV production is high while the factory load is low. Through this solution, the operation of the solar PV system becomes safer, more controlled, and fully compliant with technical requirements for grid interconnection.

The successful completion of this project demonstrates Syntek’s capability in delivering integrated energy control solutions and reinforces its role as a reliable partner in the development of efficient, adaptive, and sustainable solar PV systems.
