Integration of 20 MP Substations into PT PLN UP2D Banten’s Master SCADA System

Syntek Energy & Control has successfully completed the integration of 20 new MP Substations into the Master SCADA system of PT PLN (Persero) UP2D Banten. Completed on February 19, 2026, this project marks a strategic step forward in strengthening distribution network automation and supporting the continuous digital transformation of Indonesia’s electrical infrastructure.

Enabling Seamless Interoperability and Centralized Control

As modern electricity distribution networks expand, utilities require flexible, unified monitoring systems to maintain optimal performance. To address this, Syntek implemented the integration of multi-brand Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) devices across distribution substations in North Banten, South Banten, Serpong, and Cikokol. By accommodating various RTU brands, this project breaks down technological silos, ensuring that all designated points are now seamlessly connected and fully integrated into a single, centralized Master SCADA system.

Enhancing Network Reliability and Fault Response

Through this newly integrated infrastructure, PLN UP2D Banten is now equipped with reliable, real-time monitoring and control capabilities over its distribution network. The interoperability of the RTU devices facilitates a faster, more effective, and highly measurable process for fault identification and network restoration. Real-time data acquisition empowers operators with better situational awareness, significantly elevating the overall operational reliability of the distribution system and minimizing outage durations.
