Hybrid Energy Transformation in Jambi, Indonesia

Syntek Energy & Control has successfully implemented an off-grid hybrid energy system for one of SUN Energy’s clients located in Jambi, integrating 643 kWp Solar PV, a 1 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), and a 650 kVA Diesel Generator, all managed through Syntek EMS.

By combining solar PV and battery storage, the site — which previously relied entirely on diesel power — has now achieved 40–55% renewable energy penetration, significantly reducing both fuel consumption and generator operating hours.

Syntek EMS intelligently manages energy flow throughout the day — starting in the morning as PV production increases, transitioning seamlessly into full hybrid operation without disrupting ongoing loads.

This achievement not only reduces operational costs but also demonstrates Syntek’s commitment to delivering efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions for industrial operations in remote areas.
