Replacement of the SCADA System at Sempu Switching Station, Banten

Syntek Energy & Control has successfully completed the Replacement of the SCADA System at the Sempu Switching Station, located in Serang, Banten. Commissioned by PT PLN (Persero) UP2D Banten, the project was completed on 20 June 2025 as a strategic initiative to enhance network reliability and improve the effectiveness of system restoration during disturbances.

The Sempu Switching Station comprises 28 cubicles, several of which serve priority customers. As part of the project, the Syntek team dismantled the existing SCADA equipment and replaced it with the RTU SAE FW-50, followed by comprehensive integration and testing to ensure optimal performance. This upgrade enables the SCADA system to support more efficient monitoring and control of the distribution network.

The successful completion of this project reinforces Syntek’s commitment as a trusted partner of PLN in delivering modern solutions that enhance the reliability of distribution networks, while also supporting faster, more measurable, and more dependable network restoration processes across the Banten region.
